Hi ! My name is Zeniah Fagbuyi and I am a sophomore in the Duke Ellington Theatre Department. ‘March for the Arts’ is a fundraiser and an event held in late October. It is an opportunity for the people who support our dreams to help provide money to afford the various productions that take place at our school. It also helps to gain new experiences in the field of the preforming arts, outside of Duke Ellington alone. Your contribution is SO important to us and I am greatful for any and every donation no matter the size! Thank you so much…Love you madly!

Fundraiser.

Support Us!

In the Theatre Department, students aren't just taught how to act. They are taught how to create the stories they want to see. They are given the tools to shape the world around them with their art. Ellington relies on the generosity of parents and donors to ensure that our students receive the highest level of pre-professional training and performance opportunities. Donations enable them to create sets, craft costumes, power technical capabilities, hire additional instructors, and fund classes with Master Acting Teachers like the renowned Professor Vera Katz.

Celebrate With Us!

Once upon a time there was an enchanted land full of magical spells, beautiful maidens, and true love where everyone lived happily ever after. Or did they??? Take a magical tour through the enchanted forests of Georgetown and learn what really happened to Rapunzel, Jasmine, Hansel and Gretel and other misrepresented characters during an interactive live show. After the performance, get more of the real scoop while you fly high on the moon bounces with Aladdin, play croquet with Alice, eat homemade treats with Tiana, and dance like the clock will never strike 12 with Cinderella! Enchanted showtimes are at 10:30 and 12. Dress as your favorite misrepresented fairytale character for a special gift from the Prince!
